The RFEF reports a positive case for coronavirus in the arbitration collective

The Spanish Football Federation has notified this Tuesday of a positive case within the referee and assistant referee team, after the serological and PCR tests to which they have been subjected.

"The person who tested positive immediately began the quarantine at his home to follow the protocol established by the health authorities. In the next few days they will have new COVID-19 tests. and may not join its arbitration activity until it has obtained two consecutive negative results . " reported the body chaired by Luis Rubiales.

In addition, the RFEF has indicated that all referees will undergo a PCR test before beginning their travels to the First and Second stadiums. Likewise, the arbitrators appointed to act as VAR will undergo rapid COVID-19 screening tests before entering the VOR room.
