In the midst of the uncertainty generated by knowing if the ball in our continent would roll again in the near future, Alejandro Domínguez definitively clarified the picture. The president of the Conmebol guaranteed the continuity and completion of both the Libertadores and the South American, and assured through a video that the highest entity in South American football is already working together with all countries to plan the return of the official competition .
At @CONMEBOL we are back in our offices with the firm commitment to resume continental competitions as soon as possible, prioritizing at all times the health of the great family of South American soccer. ⚽ pic.twitter.com/Qg3UVdEOX5— Alejandro Domínguez (@agdws)

"We have only one commitment. To do that as soon as possible we can put the cups back to play again. Our only obsession is that the ball continues to roll with the order of priorities, first health and then the competition. They leave to dispute both championships and they are going to finish ", concluded Domínguez on the subject.
It should be noted that the Libertadores had to stop its activity after the second date of the group stage where River had a victory (8-0 against Binacional at the Monumental), and a defeat (3-0 against Liga de Quito in Ecuador). His next presentation should be in Brazil before São Paulo, which are particularly the most affected country and city on the continent.
