The Competition Committee of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has established that the second part of the Rayo Vallecano-Albacete match, corresponding to matchday 20 of the Second Division, will be played on Wednesday, June 10 at 8:00 p.m. .
The RFEF has confirmed the Competition decision on the dispute for the match, which will be behind closed doors and which was suspended on December 15 at the break due to the insults that part of the local fans directed at the Ukrainian player from the La Mancha team. Roman Zozulia.
The ruling of the Competition Committee comes after the Administrative Court of Sport (TAD) has dismissed the appeal filed by Rayo Vallecano against the resolution of the RFEF Appeal Committee of February 7, 2020.
On that date, Appeal dismissed Rayo's appeal against the sanction of partial closure of his field for two games, which he will have to fulfill on days 29 and 31 of Second for the aforementioned incidents, for which the club filed a claim in the TAD.
The game was suspended on December 15 at half-time (0-0) after Albacete refused to return to the pitch due to the chants of 'Zozulia, fucking Nazi' that a sector of the rayista fans dedicated to the Ukrainian player of the manchego set. Rayo seconded the decision and the referee suspended the match.
