Sevilla take advantage of a sunken Leganés

Two goals by Óliver Torres in the first half and another by Munir in the final stretch served to seal a victory (0-3) that allows Sevilla to break a streak of four consecutive draws and brings the Leganes even more to the abyss of Second.

The team of Julen Lopetegui, sanctioned this Tuesday, did not fail in his visit to the south of Madrid and soon resolved a challenge that did not have much history. The Lega has fallen into a spin and everything turns out to be the other way around. It is the only team, along with Real Sociedad, that has not won after confinement and relegation is only a matter of mathematics doing justice to the bad year of the Blue and Whites' picture.

En-Nesyri, highly motivated on his return to Leganés, forgave on the first two occasions and Miguel Ángel Guerrero replied for the locals with a great header that Vaclík stopped. However, thereafter, Oliver Torres did not miss an ownerless ball after the departure of 'Pichu' Cuéllar in a corner.

The athletic youth squad shot at the bottom of the mesh to psychically sink the cucumbers. The goal 'killed' a Lega who did not generate danger again. To make matters worse of the Madrilenians, Oliver Torres made a good play with Jesús Navas by the right side to achieve 0-2 ten minutes from the break.

There were no other alternatives, just a shot from the willful Ruibal, but those at home did not find the way to cut distances or excite the meeting. On the contrary, it was Sevilla who achieved 0-3 in an individual move -with a beautiful invoice- resolved by Munir. The victory gives wings to those of Nervión, who were pressed by Getafe in their eagerness to return to the maximum European competition.
