Federer, who was injured at the Australian Open, had not played since then, and now announces that he is going to "take the time necessary to be 100% ready" and hopes to be able to be at the start of the 2021 season .

With a message on his social networks, the one from Basel revealed that he decided to go back to the operating room "after experiencing a setback in my initial rehabilitation".
