The world of padel mourns the death of Alejandro Gama one of the great promises of the sport, who died at the age of 17 due to cancer against the who had been fighting since last summer. The player from Avila was part of the Spanish team of minors and was aiming high in a sport that he practiced since he was a child.
The mourning has taken over the paddle these days back to normal. To the good news of the return to the slopes the saddest has been added with the death of Álex Gama world champion of minors in 2017 together with his brother Juan Carlos .
Very sad for Alex's departure.
I did not have the pleasure of meeting him but it only takes reading his colleagues' messages to know that he was a huge person with a champion's heart.
These things should never happen.
All my strength to his family ❤
